BioMation Systems in the News
BioMation Systems, Inc donates custom
database to HeartCry Ministry out of
Fayetteville.
FAYETTEVILLE, GA April 16, 2008 -- BioMation Systems Incorporated
announced today the partnership with HeartCry Ministry by providing a
database that will be used to manage the organization’s activities related
to ministering to the orphans in Haiti and beyond.
Heartcry Ministry in partnership with
New Hope in Tahiti
is primarily focused on carrying out the admonition God has given
us as believers to help those that are in need, especially orphans in
their distress. Such distress is particularly acute in the country of
Haiti. While it
was once a beautiful Caribbean vacation hotspot, years of violence,
political corruption, poverty and disease have left the country and many
of its children desperate for hope and restoration.
Our current and near-term focus is on helping one orphanage in particular
that the Lord has connected with
New Hope Church in
Fayetteville, GA. "House of Children by the Faith", is the orphanage we
have primarily been assisting. It is located in Carrefour, a heavily
populated city near
Haiti's
capital of Port au Prince. It currently houses over 100 orphans and
disinherited children.
“The data base organized over 100 orphans' information
(vital statistics, prayer requests, hopes and dreams etc) that was
originally in a basic excel spread sheet and correlated the information
with photos of each child and transformed it into a work that truly
brings each child to life!! That is the best way I can describe this
gift. I have met all of these children, but this beautifully crafted data
base actually allows others to "meet" the children as well,” said Donna
Hendley of HeartCry Ministry
The orphanage was started in 1988 by Rev. Jean Polistin, a
faithful Haitian pastor who was led of the Lord to start taking in orphans
and other needy children for years before starting the orphanage. While
Rev. Polistin is still the pastor of the associated church and is very
involved with the children, his daughter, Célianie Valmond, oversees the
orphanage and associated primary school.
“I cannot tell you what a precious gift this data base is
not only to myself and those helping to maintain the sponsorship program,
but also for the children. When their hearts, faces, lives and struggles
become "real" to others, God invariably moves hearts to pray and meet
needs. Thank you for this gift, “ continued Donna.
“It is our pleasure to work with such a deserving
organization. The work Heart Cry Ministry
is doing will change the lives of the children forever and perhaps, one
day, change the direction of a country. It will no doubt have eternal
benefits for everyone involved, “ said Jon Watson of BioMation Systems,
Inc.
BioMation’s vision, strong product knowledge and experience allows them to
focus directly on what is needed to help their clients become more

to help those that can’t help themselves. That is what we formed
BioMation to be about.”

Caremaster Solves Time Sheet issues with telephony interface option in
BioCare
Success Story - BioMation Systems adds a Billing Analysis Module for
CareMaster Medical Services.
CareMaster Medical Services together with BioMation Systems, Inc announced
that they have added a Billing Analysis Module to "BioCare", a custom next
generation client processing and staffing administration software system.
The Billing Analysis Module completes the loop needed to deploy an
automated time sheet system based upon a telephony interface.
CareMaster Medical
Services, has hundreds of employees calling in their hours worked from
patient homes in the state of Georgia to an automated time keeping
system. They had to have a better way to match the data with the employee
schedule. To solve the problem, BioMation Systems developed an interface
that took care of pulling the telephony data and matching it to the master
caregiver schedule. The schedule knows what caregiver needs to be at what
patient's home and at what time. The Telephony interface matches the call
in data with the master schedule and verifies that the caregiver is at the
right house at the right time. Once that is done, the telephony interface
builds the time sheets needed to pay the employees and bill the clients or
the state.
The
telephony system works well if there is no human error and everyone calls
in right on time. But errors do happen and times easily slide several
minutes either way.
To eliminate those issues,
Biomation Systems just completed a Billing Analysis module that catches
time and billing sheet errors before they go to accounting and billing.
The module interfaces to a telephony based time sheet system then verifies
that the nurse is on site correctly and automatically updates the hours
worked when the nurse calls in again to leave the patient's home. The
interface evaluates the nurse, the scheduled time and the location and
enters in the correct pay record for the nurse. It handles time round
offs, billing time vs. scheduled time and provides reporting to help the
company evaluate their scheduling practices. Since implemented, our
client has discovered several opportunities to improve their cash flow by
drastically reducing human error, round off accumulation errors, and
missed time sheets from the process. Round off becomes a major concern
when you consider that you are tracking several thousand employee’s time
and billing sheets. Our client discovered several thousand dollars were
being lost in billing and payroll at the first use of the new Billing
Analysis Module. Now that money is
saved when they identify and correct these errors ahead of time.
The combination of the Telephony
interface and the Billing Analysis Module eliminated the need for hand
written time sheets that had to be mailed in from the field. Those time
sheets took several days to get to the home office and then someone had to
manually interpret and enter the data into the CareMaster’s BioCare
system. That process was fraught with all kinds of errors and delays
causing payroll to be a very labor intensive process. Imagine trying to
gather hundreds of handwritten time sheets in the mail, then interpreting
handwritten data and manually matching it to the master schedule to make
sure the caregiver was at the right place at the right time for the right
amount of time. It was very labor intensive and a huge headache each
payroll period.
The Billing Analysis
Module took just about two weeks to develop so there was some investment
for CareMaster but they are glad they did it. BioMation developed the
application with Microsoft Access and seamlessly interfaced it with their
existing BioCare client processing and staffing administration software
system. BioCare was also developed by BioMation Systems to meet the
growing needs of CareMaster replacing their older generation staffing
software. CareMaster found enough billing corrections, that would have
been lost forever, to pay for the development the first time they used the
new Billing Analysis Module. The new module gives the management team a
quick and easy way to find erroneous data and get it corrected before it
goes to accounting and payroll saving them thousands in potential lost
revenue every payroll period.

Release 12/12/06:
Health Care Company Solves License Compliance issues
This company has to track as many as fifteen different medical licenses
and credential verifications for over 3000 employees in the home health
care field. They can not have an employee attend to a patient that does
not have the correct licenses and credentials due to safety regulations
enforced by the state. These licenses all have to be renewed and they
have different periods and start dates. The only way that they are able
to enforce the license renewals is through payroll. Another words, get
your licenses renewals up to date or we can no longer send you to our
patients. With payroll weekly, this became a huge problem just tracking
the expiration dates and sending out notifications so that they would not
loose good employees.
