Companies everywhere need programmers with advanced skills

I don't want to oversell this, but what an opportunity for anyone just getting into Access application programming.  There are tons of Access owners that don't know how to use the tool they already own.  That means there is huge opportunity to provide Access help with applications you  develop from the comfort of your own home and sell them for thousands of dollars!  We have done it and so can you.

It’s not unrealistic to grow a relationship with a large company that will produce $200 per hour or more!  If your product saves them from making even one small manufacturing mistake, it could save them millions of dollars in recalls, legal fees and retooling expenses.   They are happy to pay you 25, 35 or even 50 thousand dollars or more to solve problems for them.  Why?  Mainly because large successful companies are growing themselves and their IT departments are often too busy fighting growing pains, like new network and computer installations, internet viruses, and correcting user problems to create the types of applications you can create for them very quickly with Access. 

Could their IT department create the tools?  Yes, but they are so swamped they can’t get started for six months from now or never because bigger problems always come up.  That is where you come in!  That is your opportunity.  Create a tool that increases a small department’s efficiency even a small amount and they are happy to pay you thousands of dollars because it saves them tens of thousands of dollars!   

  Even if you just want some part time work, what a great way to add extra cash to your current income.  Where else can you work at home, whenever you want, (in your PJ’s if you want) and make $40, $50, even $125 or more for every hour you work?  Think about it, … need an extra thousand dollars?  Take a Saturday at your desk and solve a problem for your customer, email them the software and the check will be in the mail. 

Everybody needs automation! 

  We have found that small companies need automation help just like the big ones.  We also found that most of them already have the tool they need installed on their computers.  Access!  They just need your expertise to make it work for them.  That's where you come in.  Any business owner will pay you hundreds of dollars to save them thousands and thousands of dollars to save them millions.  We have done it and so can you!

  We know it works!  We have helped a major retailer manage inventory with  Access databases so we know it can handle the load.   We also know that thousands of companies already own Access but have little experience with it.  Put the need to automate together with all the Access that is already installed and you have instant opportunity!  We have found that most companies without automation tools have the same data stored an average of seven times!  It is impossible to ensure that they keep all of that data up to date without some form of automation.

  The purpose of this book is to help you move from basic Access knowledge like creating forms to helping you create real world applications. (Hint: using the Access Relationship manager will prevent you from creating powerful and easy to use database applications.)  We have found Access to be a very powerful development environment that is very inexpensive.  I don’t know of a less expensive way to get into developing powerful applications that can support dozens of users across a network than with Access. 

  We have developed applications that are used to run medical scheduling, purchasing control, inventory control, employee directories, and that schedule and manage travel groups.  We have also developed a preventive maintenance application with Access that automatically notifies the users about maintenance tasks on their manufacturing machines. The opportunities are widespread and database programmers are in demand.  We know you can do it because we did!
